Garke

Garke is a local type of melon fruit that is grown in Kurdish regions such as Kurdistan and Kermanshah. The dark variety of this fruit has a special taste, color, and smell. In the blue variety of this fruit, these properties are less visible. The taste of this fruit is sweet and sour, and sometimes it is even more delicious and fragrant than melon. Garke fruit is harvested only in summer and is available during this season.
