Portland Pozzolanic Cement

Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) is manufactured by grinding Portland cement clinker with a certain percentage of pozzolanic materials (usually 5% to 35%). While pozzolans lack inherent cementitious properties, they react with calcium hydroxide in the presence of water to form stable strength-giving compounds. PPC offers high resistance to chemical attacks (especially sulfates), lower heat of hydration, and improved workability. It is ideal for mass concreting, marine structures, and eco-friendly construction due to its lower carbon footprint.
